Bifid clingfish
Body relatively slender, elongate, head relatively slender (both viewed from above); a large flap from front nostril; upper jaw with 3 pairs of bifid incisors followed on each side by one large canine; lower jaw with pair of simple incisors at front followed by 2 bifid incisors on each side, then a large canine; anus about halfway between anal fin origin and rear margin of disc; pectoral 21-24 rays; only a small fleshy swelling at pectoral base;sucker disc with broad patch of papillae at front, no papillae in center,6-7 rows of papillae across rear section; dorsal 7-8 rays; anal 6-7 rays; tail 7-8 rays.
Olive with reticulum of small brown-edged whitish spots; sometimes a series of dark bars evident across dorsal surface; no dark blotch above pectoral base.
Size: reaches 2.8 cm.
Inhabits rocky shores.
Depth: 0-10 m?
