Habitat
Cosmopolitan.
Characteristics
The species has a heavy lorica, and is easily recognized by the rounded lorica with two frontal and two caudal spines on the dorsal lorica plate. The dorsal plate furthermore has a conspicuous pentagonal and hexagonal ornamentation.
