Distribution
Panama, Guadaloupe, Brazil, New Caledonia, Polynesia, Galapagos.

Natural History Notes
An extract of D. ligulum has shown selective toxicity toward HCT-8 cells.

Characteristics
Orange colony, with many cloacal apertures. Great abundance of spicules in the tunic. Zooids has an atrial languet, around 8 stigmatas per row in the pharynx, testis undivided, vas deferens coiled 7 turns. Larvae gemmiparous, with 3 adhesive papillae and 10 pairs of ampullae.
