Characteristics
Tree that reaches from 15 to 30 m in height. Leaves are simple and alternate, trilobuled in young plants and oval in adults. Flowers are greenish yellow. Fruits are green turning black when ripe.

ObservationsWood from this tree is used to make boxes, crates and general carpentry, furniture, match sticks, plywood and pulp for paper. The roots and leaves are used as a remedy for fever. The flowers are often visited by bees and thus the trees of this species can be used at bee farms.
