Characteristics
Palmas comunes y abundantes a orillas de rios y quebradas, 8 m de alto o más, tallo ausente o muy corto en las plantas jóvenes y ± 4 m en los adultos. Inflorescencias axilares, muy robustas, de 2.5 m de largo o más, eje centras de al menos 8 cm de diámetro, ramas laterales cortas y densamente floreadas. Flores verdes. Observadas y fotografiadas, pero no colectadas.
Common and abundant palms on the banks of rivers and streams, 8 m high or more, stem absent or very short in young plants and ± 4 m in adults. Inflorescences axillary, very robust, 2.5 m or longer, axis center of at least 8 cm in diameter, lateral branches short and densely flowered. Green flowers. Observed and photographed but not collected.
