Characteristics
Thallus erect, iridescent blue and green in the field, or light brown, often with dark olive-brown bands, branching dichotomous. Blades strap-shaped, with smooth margins, 3-5 mm wide, 100-140 μm thick.
Medulla of one cell layer. Surface hairs uncommon.
