Habitat
Very common cosmopolitan.
Characteristics
The lorica is composed of a dorsal and a ventral lorica plate. The anterior margin of the ventral lorica plate is strongly concave. The foot pseudosegment is short, whereas the toe is rather long with terminal pseudoclaws. The species is easily recognized by the ovoid shape of the lorica.
