Characteristics
Begins life as a small (4-7 cm) whitish egg that develops into a white (5-17 cm) horn. At maturity the white horn is topped by a cap of sorts that may be covered in a smelly olive-brown substance that eventually wears away. Below the edge of the cap hangs a lacey white "skirt" (3-6 cm).



Photo is likely Phallus indusiatus, but this remains unconfirmed.
